A/Professor Krishna Vaddadi is a Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in General Adult Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry, with particular expertise in psychiatric conditions associated with neurological disorders, including Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease.

He completed his psychiatric training in the United Kingdom, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) and an MPhil from the University of Leeds, and later became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).

With over 30 years of clinical experience, Professor Vaddadi has held senior roles across Victorian public and private mental health services. He established an early Movement Disorders Clinic at Maroondah Hospital and served as Consultant Psychiatrist at Monash Health from 1996 to 2026, also holding an Associate Professorship at Monash University. His work has spanned inpatient, community, consultation-liaison, and rehabilitation psychiatry.

He is currently Director of Psychiatry at Southeastern Private Hospital, providing inpatient and outpatient care. He has an extensive research record with international publications in neuropsychiatry, schizophrenia, movement disorders, and psychiatric rehabilitation, including recent work on adverse childhood experiences and adult mental health.

His clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, neuropsychiatry, and consultation-liaison psychiatry. He is trained in rTMS, EMDR therapy, and impairment assessment.
