Dr Zhu Chung Che is a neurologist with subspecialty interests in clinical neurophysiology and general neurology.
Dr Che graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with Commendation from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom, in 2017. He completed his specialty training in neurology at Monash Health and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, including a clinical fellowship in stroke medicine at Monash Health in 2023. He is currently undertaking a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular disorders at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, where he is receiving comprehensive training in electrodiagnostic studies.
Dr Che has maintained a strong academic interest throughout his career. He has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at several international neurology conferences. His academic achievements include the Fulton Prize in Neurology, Development Trust Elective Travel Prize, George Thompson Medal, and McWillie Prize, awarded by the University of Aberdeen. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN) and the Neuromuscular Society of Australia and New Zealand (NMSANZ).
Dr Che is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay. Outside of his professional practice, he is an avid traveller and enjoys spending time with his young family.
